Whitby Canada Day Celebrations
Come on out and watch the band play July 1st in Whitby 4 – 5pm to Celebrate Canada Day

The County Town Carnival is a family-oriented event with free admission and parking. The children’s area includes jumping castles, petting zoo, face painting, games, balloons, Station Gallery Art activities which are available for children to enjoy until 8:00 p.m. Performing artists and carnival booths keep visitors of all ages entertained throughout the festivities. The park is an ideal location for picnics and enjoying the July weather. Learn about community organizations and services in your community. Don’t miss the live entertainment at centre stage throughout the day until dark when the Community Connection fireworks ignite the summer night skies.

2012 marks the Bicentennial of the War of 1812 and the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. Enjoy commemorative activities with the 10th Royal Veteran Battalion and the Whitby Public Library and Archives.
