Leonard Cohen Street Tribute – AGO

SISTERS ARGUE has been selected to perform this week at: “Street Tribute! The Glenn Gould Prize Salutes Leonard Cohen.”

. The Glenn Gould Prize has been referred to as the “Nobel Prize of the Arts” and is being awarded to Mr. Cohen Monday night at a Gala event at Massey Hall. On Friday and Saturday, over 30 performers will be located throughout the downtown Toronto core performing Cohen’s works as part of the celebrations leading to Monday’s Gala. . LAUREN & SABRINA ARGUE WILL BE SINGING AND PLAYING THEIR ACOUSTIC GUITARS RENDITIONS OF SOME OF COHEN’S SONGS AT A FREE SHOWCASE: . FRIDAY MAY 11: 2 – 6 PM just outside the Art Gallery of Ontario (SW corner of Dundas St. W and McCaul) . SATURDAY MAY 12: 12 – 4 PM at Bellevue Square Park in Kensington Market(north of Dundas, westside of Augusta)
