The Argues

Canadian indie country-rock FAMILY band The Argues won BEST COUNTRY at the 2017 Toronto Independent Music Awards in October 2017 and placed in the Top Ten in CBC’s 2017 SEARCHLIGHT competition for Central Ontario.

Fronting The Argues are singer-songwriters and multi-instrumentalists sisters Sabrina 18 and Lauren 20. Along with their band-mate parents, drummer Chantale (Bones) and guitarist Mick, they draw comparisons to TV’s Partridge Family, but their unique sound is more like Grace Potter & The Nocturnals and Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers. The band has performed at countless festivals, events and venues has shared the stage with Jack DeKeyzer, Irene Torres, Andrew Hyatt, River Town Saints and other great Canadian artists.

The band released their single I Don’t Need You to Canadian country radio in June 2018.
